Diabetes in in the past and future.

According to the 2011 Diabetes Fact Sheet, type 2
(adult onset or ” lifestyle”  based) Diabetes accounts for approximately 90% to 95% of all diagnosed cases of diabetes, and according to the CDC the projection is that by 2050 1 in 3 adults will have type 2 diabetes.

Focus on prevention

Exercise
Exercise has a huge impact on the bodies ability to increase insulin effectiveness in the body and regulate blood glucose levels. Around an hour of cardiovascular  exercise 6 days a week can help to decrease the liklelihood of getting diabetes.

 Mindful eating
Refined white flour, refined white sugars, high fructose corn syrup, and other refined carbohydrates lend to diseases like obesity and Diabetes. Instead eat a clean balanced diet of  organic whole foods with adequate amounts and of protein, fat, and fiber. Diets that are centered in whole foods and  moderation can help to keep blood glucose under control, and keep diabetes away.

Getting Adjusted Can Help!
Our nervous system controls and regulates every reaction, organ, and  movement; everything that happens in your body is reliant on proper nervous system function. Removing subluxations will help the nervous system to operate at its highest capacity which inturn helps organs like the brain, pancreases, digestive tract,  and liver  to function  to the best of their ability and help in keeping diseases like Diabetes away.
